Game Eater: Spearfishing for Bass

I joined chef Thomas Straker in Salcombe as he headed out spearfishing for bass. The mission was simple: early start, head out to sea, hold our breaths for as long as possible, find a few decent bass, and bring them back to a sandy beach for a big cook-up. Sea to plate in a couple of hours. Doesn’t get much fresher than that.
